To sum up the competition of children's creativity on the eve of the Day of child's protection become a wonderful tradition. This year the competition took place under the slogan «My future - with my native land». We received hundreds of works with a variety of formats, art direction and level of performance. But all of them are united with special sincerity that it is only possible in childhood. Clear and fair view of the world is reflected in each picture or installation.
It was very difficult for Competition Committee to determine the winners, so each of the participants was awarded a gift. But let's go step by step ...
The competition was announced in January 2008 on the pages of corporate newspaper «Svarozhe kolo». The main goal of the contest was to support young talents, elevate faith in the future and form prestige agricultural occupations. According to the terms of the competition, one must be under the age of 14 and familiar with the activities of the corporation, connect one's future with native land. The newspaper has been publishing interesting works and writings of young readers during 3 months. Competition Committee got a lot of pleasure while examining these letters, drawings and fine crafts. So, May 22, 11 AM buses with young contestants, their parents and mentors arrived to the literary-memorial museum of Nikolai Ostrovsky in Shepetivka. They had the opportunity to rest and view the exhibition of children's works. Festively decorated hall of the museum was completely full of participants and fans. The event began with the corporational administration's greeting words. The Chairman of Board A. Gordiychuk and his deputy, V. Stetsyuk sincerely welcomed talented young people and wished them to devote their talents and creative capacity to the revival of the Ukrainian village. Children received presents and diplomas for their excellent work in the festive atmosphere. List of winners:
1 st place - Alexander Prodan (Sokiryansky region), prize - musical center.
2-place - Ekaterina Volodina and Lyudmila Mushtin from Shepetivka, prizes - large inflatable mattresses for the summer holidays.
3rd place - Bogdan Hruschovsky (Sokiryansky region) and Bogdan Roik (Shepetovsky region), prizes - travel sleeping bags.
Also a lot of works were admitted in the following categories:
«For the high-skill» - Valentin Yakimchuk (Khmelnytsky region), prize - a great tabletop hockey game;
«Audience Prize» - Alexandra Kondratyuk (Slavuta region), prize - toy elephant;
«For the magnitude of vision» - Mikhalchuk Ivanna from Shepetivka, prize large soft toy;
«Resourcefulness» - Andrei Shimanyuk, Tatiana Yanickaya, Alexander Zaitsev (Shepetivka), prizes - darts and soft toys;
«For the deep vision of future of the village» - Anastasia Dogotar (Sokiryansky region), prize - a set of encyclopedias;
«The youngest participant» - Marijka Galickaya (Shepetivka region), prize - a large soft toy;
«For the poetic talent» - Ilya Horonzhuk (Shepetivka), prize - a big fitness ball;
«For quick reaction» - Denis Omelchuk (Khmelnitskiy), prize - skate;
«Striving for victory» - Vasyl Vyshinsky (Kelmenetsky region) and Svetlana Nuzhdak (Slavuta region), prizes - tabletop hockey game and soft toy;
«For the best creative design» - Kostyuk family (Shepetivka region), prize – DVD-player;
«For unity in the works» - Ognivchuk family (Shepetivka), prize - tea set, Dyachuk family (Shepetivka region) and Zhuk family (Sokiryansky region), prizes - DVD-players.
Prizes also were awarded for organizations: for the substantial assistance in organizing the event - secondary school number 4 and boarding school (Shepetivka) for active participation; Center of Children and Youth Creativity (Shepetivka), Romankivtsy gymnasium (Sokiryany region) and Sulzhin kindergarten (Shepetivka region). They received household appliances, office equipment and sports equipment for children. The remaining participants received sports games as minor prizes. The awarding ceremony was accompanied by beautiful vocal numbers by Dasha Chernushich, Nastia Baranchuk and Christina Dichinska. After awarding ceremony the audience had an opportunity to see the performance «The Good Deeds» by Children's puppet show from Shepetivka boarding school (art director - Svetlana Lyulko). Their performance was accompanied by waves of applause and approval. The guests visited "Yubileiny" restaurant after the show. They had opportunity to communicate in informal atmosphere during festive lunch. It was pleasant to watch delightful children, who immediately made friends and shared experiences with each other. Young guests of «Svarog West Group» corporation returned home happy and inspired because they took home good memories and gifts, and what is most important - a sense that they are the future of our land!
