The weather on September 24 was remarkably well. The bright sun and the breeze made one to forget about the fall. It seemed as if nature was celebrating bright holiday - Day of field along with farmers. This festival can be compared with the harvest festival, which came to us from ancient times. Every person who knows the price of each spikelet feels grateful to the native land for the generous gifts. So, the event started at nine o'clock on the field near Mokiivtsi village. Of course, local residents were not impressed with powerful tractors and combines since they live near the well known corporational MTS. However, the field was crowded with equipment and about two hundred visitors. Farmers from almost all Western Ukraine, residents of surrounding villages and students of local schools were present there.
The festival organizers are long-term partners: Svarog West Group corporation and Amako company. Also there were representatives of other companies that offered their products. Day of Field philosophy which are organized by Amako company is to be natural, because nearly all technique, which they demonstrate there belongs to local agricultural firms. Representatives of the neighboring agricultural enterprises attend such exhibitions in order to introduce modern technology and on their lands. Svarog West Group corporation is a very powerful agrostructure of Western Ukraine, which is always easy to cooperate with.
Guests were invited to examine the exhibition and "feel" the latest developments of agriculture. Those who were interested could even buy a harvester or other machinery holiday much cheaper than in the salon. Interesting features of the exhibition were field tests. A special field was chosen,. The brand new disc harrows, which seems to be just from the factory turned solid soil into soft earth for a few minutes. Every machine test was accompanied by applause. Representatives of the Karcher company (one of the largest manufacturers of cleaning equipment throughout the world) staged a spectacular show, where high water pressure made real feats. Mobile water unit was even used as an axe and instantly hacked wooden block with the water flow. All the machines were quickly and easily washed in the end of the exhibition once again demonstrating the high quality of Karcher products.
Summing up the Day of the field, we can say: despite the severe financial situation, farmers are paying much attention to modern technologies, energy saving cost-effective technique. Therefore, Ukraine will have bread and generous harvests!
