Guided Shevchenko precept "and someone else and learn from her not deny", the administration of the corporation Svarog West Group supports the initiative group on the possibilities of studying the experiences of other organizations, including abroad. So, become a good tradition to travel to international exhibitions, seminars, conferences, participation in programs for international internships. In September, thanks to the project "Public relations" with the assistance of the United States Agency for International Development has used this possibility, chief information and social policy of the corporation TP Wasylyk, which is within 3 weeks of training took place in the system of public and charitable work in the United States.
In general, Community Connections - a state program of public diplomacy, which is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented in Ukraine organization PH International. The program provides the opportunity to receive practical training and internships in the United States of Ukrainian businessmen, representatives of local authorities, leaders of social organizations, teachers, lawyers, doctors, environmentalists and experts of other fields. The program includes seminars, training sessions, visits to the state, public and private organizations, meetings with American specialists, and applied learning.
Selection of participants was carried out according to the criteria of professionalism, leadership qualities, desire for change for the better, the sense of responsibility to help others and faith in the strength of the community. To participate in the program, were selected 10 candidates. Within three weeks of the group, while in the city of Kansas City (Missouri, USA), successively acquainted with the activities of the most effective charities and social structures, institutions, education, culture, sports, spirituality and medicine, studied the system for their financial and material support, interaction with the board of trustees and volunteer agencies. This is the schedule proposed to the Ukrainian delegation's host organization, the International Visitors Council of Kansas City, headed by Barbara Dolsi.
Besides the business part of the visit, it was assumed familiarity with the culture and life of the central part of the country, so the internship participants lived with American families and have the opportunity to make their own impartial analysis on the life of American society.
While were established friendly relations with many of its counterparts in the United States, drafted action portions of the experience and adapt it to the Ukrainian realities.
