Bullet shooting is an Olympic kind of sports, and there is nothing surprising that any Ukrainian can train in well-aimed shooting at numerous sports schools and shooting galleries at various sports societies.
This kind of sports is popular among the workers of the enterprises and organisations of Shepetivka district, who took participation in regional tournament on the bullet shooting, passing on October, 28th on the basis of Shepetivska lycée. These competitions were devoted 65th anniversary of liberation of Ukraine from fascist aggressors.
13 teams took participation in this tournament, including the team of «Svarog West Group» corporation with the same name «Svarog». Its structure included 3 participants - M. Jaroshchuk, J.Smazhnyj and A. Morgun. There were some others teams, struggled for a victory. For example, teams of Municipal Department of Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs, Executive Committee of the City Council, Regional State Administration, party organisation "Bat’kivshchyna", bank "Aval’", teams of two military units and others. These competitions were spent according to rules of competitions on bullet shooting from a small-bore pistol.
The team of military unit A/4127 has won, the second place was occupied with a team of the Executive Committee of the City Council and the third place has got to a team of the City Department of Internal Affairs.
In personal offset the most well-aimed shots were made by Alexander Blinda (Executive Committee of the City Council) and Alexander Silvestr (Department of Internal Affairs). They have occupied accordingly I and II places, and the third step in tournament was won by Igor Karchevsky (military unit A/2007).
The leader of the District Sport Society “Kolos” G. Tokareva and the head of Regional Club of Physical and Psychological Rehabilitation of Invalids "Dolja" V. Gumenjuk awarded the winners and prize-winners of competitions with diplomas. Also the sportsmen have been awarded with valuable presents by the sponsors of this action – the Deputy of Regional Council, the Vice-President of Board of "Svarog West Group" Corporation M.Djachuk, businesswoman G.Veselkova, businessman A.Voroshchuk.
It is necessary to notice, that the given tournament was spent for the purpose of popularisation of bullet shooting in a city and area, and also realisation of the complex program of development of physical culture and sports in Shepetivka district and establishments of friendly relations between athletes and sportsmen.
