Autumn is a time for honoring farmers for their labor and thanking God for His gifts.
This year the corporation has celebrated harvesting with a regional seminar, which took place on marvelous Bukovyna land. The program of the seminar consisted of several thematic sectors, discussions and analyses of the region's core agriculture development factors and yield indices in this year and compared to the previous ones. After the registration the guests (the seminar was attended by approximately 70 guests, public authorities and agro-organizations representatives being among them) had a possibility to examine the field of the corporation. To provide the guests with the most reliable information the excursion was accompanied by speeches of the Chief of the Board A.A. Gordiychuk, his Deputies, department directors and region authorities.
The first place to visit was the corn field. Here the Chief of the Board and the Chief agronomists publicized the information concerning the approach to such main production steps as ground testing; land cultivation, intensive technology preference etc. It was notified that each piece of land is being treated individually. As for the harvest, the figures declared were 50 centners per hectare. Taking into the consideration this area being first planted after a long period of neglecting, the results are inspiring. It witnesses that the technologies and methods applied are being used effectively and skillfully.
The next stands were corporation's pear orchard, greenhouses and machinery exhibition. Here the guests were acquainted with the main purposes and sizes of foreign equipment purchasing. As it was told, together with implementing the best fertilizing and protection methods, using the most cutting-edge machines are half the battle for getting good results. Off course theses are nothing without the reliable management systems.
The final stage of the seminar, a plenary meeting, was the time to make conclusions and to shape the strategies for the effective cooperation for the sake of the region prosperity.
