October 22-23, 2018 Svarog West Group Corporation became a participant of the first Canadian-Ukrainian investment forum CUTIS Investment Roadshow.
A gala opening ceremony of the first investment roadshow was held in Toronto as part of the anniversary celebration of the Canada Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA). The event was attended by more than 150 participants from business and public sector from both countries who appreciated the results of cooperation, as well as expressed interest in strengthening of the Canadian-Ukrainian partnership.
The representatives of the Ukrainian delegation: Kubiv Stepan, First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine (he was the head of the Ukrainian delegation), Viktor Dovgan, Deputy Minister for European Integration, Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine on European Integration Natalia Boyko, acting head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Vitaliy Trubarov, Yuriy Terentyev, Head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and Chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration Andriy Gordeev. Svarog West Group Corporation presented a member of the Board of Directors, Chief Strategy Officer Nataliya Cherep and Director Strategy and Business Development Svitlana Totska.
Within the forum, Ukrainian companies were presented and 20 projects in the fields of infrastructure, natural resources, agriculture and information and communication technologies were presented. Through face-to-face exchanges between representatives of Ukrainian companies and Canadian investors the discussion took place. CUTIS Investment Roadshow is a great place to set up new investment bridges between Canada and Ukraine.
The Canada-Ukraine Trade and Investment Support (CUTIS) Project is a 5-year (2016-2021) Canadian development assistance initiative designed to lower poverty in Ukraine through increasing exports from Ukraine to Canada and investment from Canada to Ukraine.
