
This sector is represented by ten enterprises in Khmel’nytsky and Chernivtsy regions specializing in growing cereals, technical, industrial and oil crops (wheat, barley, sugar beets, corn, sunflower, soy, rape, rye, oats, peas, mustard, poppy, etc.).
An important objective of the sector is providing the livestock breeding branch with own-made feed: meliot, lutserne, winter ruttishness mixed with winter vetch, ryegrass, corn, nut, etc.
There is tendency of yield growth due to the usage of modern machinery and up-to-date processing technologies.


Corporation's wide geographical activity allows using technical potential with maximum efficiency. The temperature diversity makes it possible to begin farming operations in Chernivtsy earlier than in Khmelnitsky.
Organic farming is a new branch of operations. In particular, our lands in Nova Ushytsya (Svarog-Dnister Ltd.) were certified by the Institute for Marketecology (IMO) in the framework of the Swiss government in Ukraine Program of Organic Production Promoting, and the crops planted here shall be considered organic.
Our enterprises possess four grain elevators with a volume up to 100 thousand tons. In the current moment corporation also practices additional usage of hermetically sealed, flexible polyethylene sleeves for grain storage.
The use of intensive farming technology provides both high yield and grain quality, fiber content which is estimated below 2 class. Planning for 2010 total grain shaft will be about 200 tons, including: 40 tons of winter wheat, 20 tons of spring wheat, 30 tons of barley, 90 tons of corn, 30 000 tons of soybeans, 10 000 tons of peas, etc.
