


SVAROG West Group Corporation has been committed to a high standard of social responsibility since its beginnings. The corporation has produced and implemented the following – production of safe high quality products, provision of good working conditions and equal professional opportunities for its personnel, investing into staff qualification and development. Such responsibility includes also complying with the rules of ethical conduct in business, IRP implementation and timely tax covering.
One of the most important aspects is the corporation’s activity that is aimed at improvement of the local community’s living standards. The corporation considers itself to be the most hopeful prospect for the spiritual and material growth of the society.
Since 2007 the corporation’s task force for social contribution has studied the situation in the region, and together with local governmental authorities has worked towards solutions of the communities most urgent problems in the spheres of education, medicine, spiritual life and general well-being. In this year about UAH 1.5 million were allocated for community needs.
For its contributions and efforts to help the community solve the above mentioned problems, the SVAROG West Group Corporation was awarded the title of “best benefactor” in Khmel'nytsky region in 2007 - "Blahodijnyk roku Khmelnychchyny".
In 2008 the corporation initiated the Agreement on Social Partnership. This program gives back to the community UAH 10 for each hectare of rented community land. The money given back is udes for various community enrichment projects.
Alongside this program there was also the initiation of another program of social contributions "With the People, For the People", which presupposes additional financial and material support for the local community initiatives. After filling in the applications and submitting projects a person with a planned community initiative waits one month on the decision of the special committee about participation or non-participation into the realization of their project.
In general the corporation is open to dialogue concerning “grassroots” programs and projects aimed at raising living standards in the region.
